Philip van Staden

Philip van Staden began his career in his home country of South Africa as a bank broker for ABSA Bank.  He was later promoted to Regional Manager for ABSA and supervised over 50 financial advisors.  In 2001, Philip relocated to the U.S. to accept an employment opportunity.  In 2003, he began working with an independent broker dealer as a Registered Representative and Home Office OSJ Principal, overseeing the supervision of numerous independent financial advisors.  He was promoted to CEO of the broker dealer in 2012 and oversaw all aspects of the day to day operations, including the supervision of Home Office staff members (management and administrative) and over 100 Independent Registered Representatives.  In 2014 Philip joined a new independent broker dealer as a Registered Representative and Home Office Field OSJ Principal.  Philip resigned in 2018 to start Green Vista Capital LLC (GVC).  GVC was approved by the SEC and FINRA for broker dealer operations in July 2018.  He currently serves as CEO, CCO, and Designated Principal of the Firm.
